Look out for indications of mold. If the thing is any inexperienced mold, white fuzzy mold, or dim black places (mildew) on the mushroom, do not eat it. Don’t fear if you see blue staining—this is popular in Psilocybe mushrooms and an indicator which the mushrooms have psilocybin. As excellent as dried mushrooms are, they aren’t excellent. L
